Warrandyte Cottage Terms and Conditions

Contract

This contract is for a short/medium-term holiday rental of the Warrandyte Cottage and is made between the client and the owners of Warrandyte Cottage, ("the owners"), Andrew & Christine Broughton, binding from such time that booking is first made and inclusive of all the following conditions.

By entering into this booking the client contracts on behalf of himself/herself and all those in his/her party that he/she has the authority to accept these conditions on behalf of and binding upon all the guests in his/her party.

Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the property is taken for holiday purposes only and that the number of people in each property is limited to that entered on the booking form.

The client and any friends or family of the client visiting the property while the client is staying must follow the conditions of the contract, including the rules and procedures contained in the information folder provided in the property.

Payment

Your deposit of 25% of the cost is payable on booking if this booking is made more than four weeks before your rental commences. Bookings are provisional until a deposit is received. The deposit must be received within 7 days of the provisional booking being made or the provisional booking will be deemed to be cancelled. The balance must be paid four weeks before the commencement of the rental. Non-payment of the balance of the rent on or after the due date may be deemed to be a cancellation of the contract by the client(s).

Cancellation - Due to the Coronavirus situation if your holiday is prevented by new regulations in Wales or your own County, any monies paid by you will be returned on cancellation.

If however, you choose to cancel your holiday because you have 'changed your mind' we will of course try to re-rent the cottage to another client so that we can refund you.  We always recommend that you have travel insurance for personal illness or inability to travel not associated with covid.

To prevent loss of our rental income in the case of 'change your mind situation' we would charge on a sliding scale according to how late the cancellation is made, (please see below,)  This will of course be returned to you if/when we secure  another booking, but if we have to offer the cottage as a last minute discounted deal the amount you receive will reflect the decrease in the rental we manage to secure.
